How do I book a house cleaning in Austin?
Book online in about two minutes: start at our online booking page, choose your home size, add-ons, date and frequency, and your exact price appears before you confirm. Prefer to talk it through? Call or text us at (512) 617-5979 any day, any time.
How does your pricing work?
Our pricing is flat-rate, based on the size of your home, the number of bathrooms and any add-ons you choose, so you see the full price before you book and there are no hourly surprises. Recurring cleanings are discounted: 15% weekly, 10% every two weeks, 7% every three weeks and 4% every four weeks.
When will I be charged?
A card on file secures your appointment, and nothing is charged until the day of your cleaning. We do not accept checks.
Need to cancel or reschedule?
Plans change, and we make it easy to adjust. Reschedule or cancel at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice by phone, email or through your online account. Changes requested with less than 48 hours' notice carry a $70 late-change fee, which compensates the cleaning team that reserved that time for you.
Do you offer same-day or next-day cleaning?
Often, yes. Same-day cleaning depends on availability across our Austin teams, so call (512) 617-5979 and we will tell you right away what we can do today.

What does a standard cleaning include?
Our standard cleaning covers everything that keeps a home feeling fresh: dusting, vacuuming and mopping, a full kitchen clean including counters, sink, stovetop and the outside of appliances, bathrooms scrubbed top to bottom, and living areas tidied. Add inside-the-fridge, inside-the-oven, interior windows, baseboards, blinds and more during booking, or choose a deep cleaning for a first visit or a seasonal reset.
When can I expect my cleaner to arrive?
We schedule appointments with a one-hour arrival window, which gives our teams room for the occasional delay at a previous home without rushing anyone's cleaning. Once you are on a recurring schedule, you can count on the same arrival time every visit.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
It is entirely up to you. Many clients prefer to be out, and we offer an 8am to 3pm window for those who would rather not be present. Leave entry, key or alarm details when you book and we will take it from there.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Share any instructions or preferences for your cleaner, including pet, key or alarm information. Picking up personal items such as toys or clothes beforehand lets your cleaner spend the whole visit on the cleaning itself.
Do you provide the cleaning supplies?
Yes. We arrive fully equipped with our own eco-friendly supplies for a safe, effective clean. To support our green approach and avoid cross-contamination between homes, we ask that you provide a vacuum, a toilet brush and a 3-step ladder.
Can I request special cleaning tasks?
Of course. Tell us about any specific requests or extra tasks by email or phone, or in the comments when you book, and we will do everything we can to accommodate them.
Would you rather we skip certain rooms?
Just let us know. We will tailor the cleaning plan to your home, whether that means focusing on common areas only or concentrating on specific tasks.

Can I trust Sparkly Maid Austin's cleaners?
Absolutely. Every cleaner is pre-screened, interviewed in person, background-checked and professionally trained before they ever enter a client's home, and continued high performance is required to stay on our team. We are fully insured.
How do you accommodate homes with pets?
We adore pets, and our house cleaning and maid services are pet-friendly. Our cleaners are experienced at working around furry family members and keeping them comfortable and safe. For the most efficient cleaning, we suggest keeping pets in a separate area during the visit.
Do I need to stay in touch for recurring cleanings?
No. Once your recurring service is set up we handle everything: expect us on your scheduled dates and times without any check-ins, plus automated email reminders before each cleaning.
What is your policy on tipping?
Our cleaners never expect gratuities, but they are always grateful for a cash tip as a thank-you for their hard work.

The fine print
Guarantee and policies
What if I am not satisfied with the cleaning?
Every visit is backed by our 48-hour satisfaction guarantee. If any area of your home falls short of our standard, let us know within 48 hours of the cleaning and we will return to re-clean it at no additional charge. Concerns raised after the 48-hour window fall outside the guarantee, so a quick look around once your cleaner leaves is always worthwhile.
What about refunds?
Rather than refunds, we resolve any concern with a complimentary follow-up visit, scheduled promptly when you contact us within 48 hours of your service. Our cleaners are paid for the time they work in your home, so completed services are final upon payment and requests received after the 48-hour window cannot be accommodated.
Do you handle post-construction or renovation cleanings?
Post-construction and renovation cleanings need extra time and equipment, so they are quoted separately from our standard cleanings. Visit our post-construction cleaning page or call (512) 617-5979 to arrange one.
Do you clean apartments, condos and Airbnbs?
Yes. We clean apartments and condos of every size, Airbnb and short-term rentals between guests, and move-in and move-out cleanings for renters and homeowners.
